I chose the name Altered Hearts to express my belief in the transformative power of jewelry and energy of natural gemstones.

This belief includes repurposing vintage or discarded items. My work has evolved over the years, as I have identified new areas of expression that feel true and natural to me.

My early interests in life focused around a passion for ancient societies and archaeological finds. This interest resulted in my obtaining a BA in Anthropology. From that time forward I channeled my attraction toward the "undiscovered."

I am passionate about history and storytelling. Each piece I create is designed with a story behind it, based on the power of the gemstones or design used. Lately, I've found myself moving toward mixed-media art. This new transformation allows my heart and soul to run wild and reimagine ancient discoveries and expound on their spiritual meanings to a new audience.
